Dedham Police Log: Hotel Robbery, Stolen Motorcycle, and More

June 7

10:52 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a local hotel for a report of a stolen wallet and cell phone. The victim, a security guard at the hotel, said a male was walking around talking to all the guards and he believes he took his phone. Police went to his room, call the victim’s phone and heard a ringing phone inside a trash receptacle. The suspect, Robert Vance, 39, was taken into custody.

June 8

7:44 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at a store at Legacy Place.

9:34 a.m. - Two tires were stolen off a vehicle .

June 10

8:44 p.m. - A stolen motorcycle was reported.

June 11

12:54 p.m. - Following a crash on Route 1, one of the drivers was cited for operating with a suspended license.

1:43 p.m. - A boot larceny was reported at a store on Route 1.
