Dedham Police Log: Presidential Road Rage, Injured Goose, and More

June 13
1:38 p.m. - Road rage was reported on Legacy Boulevard. The victim told police that someone in another vehicle started to yell and curse at him. The victim said he did nothing to provoke the man and thinks that it was because of the presidential campaign sticker and other political signs on his car. The suspect allegedly threw an object at the victim’s car.

June 14
12:34 p.m. - A shoplifter at Legacy Place was reported. The suspect will be summonsed to court.

June 16
9:41 a.m. - The animal control officer was dispatched to the East Dedham Plaza for a report of an injured goose. One goose in the area appeared to be limping and unsure on its feet. Upon further investigation, the officer noticed a large tumor on the animal’s cheek. The animal was captured and arrangements were made with the Animal Rescue League of Boston to treat the animal.
