12:12 p.m - Police received a call from a parent who said that her daughter and friends were approached by a man in a vehicle as they walked from Dedham Middle School to the plaza. The teens told police that the man in the car pulled up next to them and gave them a creepy smile, and followed them. When police located the vehicle, the driver, who spoke broken English, said he was trying to find a place to go to the bathroom and said he didn’t say anything for the girls. The suspect apologized for the misunderstanding and left the area.
