Dedham Police Log: Vehicle Break-ins, Robbery, and More

August 1

9:35 a.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported at Legacy Place. The victim told police that the break-in took place on July 30 between 2:15-2:30 p.m.

3:55 p.m. - Shoplifters were reported at Ocean State Job Lot on Route 1. The suspects were trespassed from the property.

August 2

6:27 a.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported on Boathouse Lane.

9:26 a.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported on Pleasant Street.

1:05 p.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported on Highland Street.

2:51 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Sears on Route 1. Police will be seeking a criminal complaint against the suspect.

4:15 p.m. - John Rice, 48, was arrested at Star Marker on Route 1 and charged with larceny and unarmed robbery.
