January 28
8:37 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Kiely Road, James Sears, 27, of Middleborough, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, marked lanes violation, and operating under the influence of liquor (second offense)
10:11 a.m. - Following a two-car crash on Route 1, a driver received a citation.

2:39 p.m. - Mark Westwater, 41, of Dedham, was arrested on Harding Terrace on a warrant.

January 29
6:10 p.m. - Police received a report of an erratic operator on Route 1. The caller told police that the vehicle was all over the road and was driving on the wrong side of the road. After speaking to the driver, police determined that the operator was in an altered mental state.The driver was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
