Dedham Resident Mary Ellen Kelley Helped HomeStart's Winter Celebration for the Homeless

Mary Ellen Kelley of Dedham, longtime volunteer at HomeStart

Mary Ellen Kelley of Dedham, longtime volunteer at HomeStart, helped out at the annual Winter Celebration luncheon held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Great Hall at the Statehouse. The luncheon honored and recognized the achievements of HomeStart’s clients who were previously homeless. Those clients received certificates that congratulated them on their accomplishments in being stably housed for as little as 2 months to more than 15 years. HomeStart’s mission is to end and prevent homelessness in Greater Boston by developing and implementing strategies to address systemic barriers to housing placement.
