DEDHAM, MA - On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 7 p.m., the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center will be hosting an informational community meeting on progress on the Mother Brook National Register District to provide project updates, engage with neighbors and homeowners, and discuss the next steps in the process to prepare a formal nomination for the district.

Since 2018, volunteers, staff, and consultants have been working to survey the historical assets of East Dedham and attract greater regional and national recognition of the area, according to spokesperson Michelle Tinger.

This effort will advance a nomination later this year to have a local district listed, known as the Mother Brook National Register District, on the National Register of Historic Places.
