Dedham Sends Quarantined 'Thank You' To First Responders
'Thank You' notes taped to a residents window stopped police officers in their tracks while responding to a call.
DEDHAM, MA — A Dedham resident found a creative way to say thank you to those on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis. Adhering to social distancing guidelines, signs reading "Thank you" were taped to the window of a home at Doggett Circle.
Dedham police officers responding to an animal control call in the area noticed the sign and stopped in their tracks to snap a photo and share their gratitude. The colorful signs filled the windows with Thank You's and heart cut-outs with titles written on them including nurses an doctors, Fallon Ambulance, Dedham police, fire and post office.
Another sign read, "We can do this. Stay strong, stay safe, stay positive. Love, Shirley."
