Dedham Student Graduates from Saint Joseph Prep

Michael Rosselle of Dedham was among 41 members of the 2016 graduating class on Thursday, June 2.

Saint Joseph Preparatory High School held its fourth commencement exercises at the Robsham Theater at Boston College on Thursday, June 2. Diplomas were conferred to 41 members of this graduating class, the class of 2016, by Head of School Thomas E. Nunan, Jr.

The graduates and their families were treated to exemplary speeches from salutatorian Dong Su Kim (University of California San Diego) and from two valedictorians, Anna Daher (Boston University) and Sarah Murphy (Boston College). Rosemary Brennan, CSJ, president of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, offered the invocation, and Board Chair Peter J. Martin, attorney at Bowditch & Dewey, extended congratulations to the graduates. The Reverend Paul Burton, vice president of the Ron Burton Training Village, was the commencement speaker.

Reverand Burton shared his inspiring message, daring the graduates to set lofty goals and to follow their dreams and reminding them that determination, perseverance and a strong faith in God are essential to success.
