Dedham Survivor Update: It's a Tribe Swap!
How would Dedham's Bret LaBelle react to his new tribe?

DEDHAM, MA — Forget everything you thought you knew about this season of Survivor because the game got flipped upside down Wednesday night.
It was at the beginning of the episode when, in a surprise move, host Jeff Probst announced there would not only be a tribe swap, but a brand new tribe as well. Dedham’s Bret LaBelle would join fellow Generation X tribe member Sunday Burquest and four millennials in the new tribe, which was sent to a new beach and had to start from scratch.
The change was not idea for LaBell, who was on the top of his tribe before the swap.

“(Gen-Xers) have a drive to get through tough times and not to quit. I need to prove to (the millennials) I’m worth keeping around because right now, it’s about surviving this game,” LaBelle said prior to a scene of him helping build a new shelter.
In the immunity challenge, the three teams had to jump in the water, grab a buoy from underwater, swim to another platform, and shoot the buoy into a basket. The tribes had the option to use a hook to pull in the basket. The first two tribes to five earned immunity.

LaBelle’s tribe was one of two to gain immunity, sending the Vanua tribe to tribal council where CeCe Taylor was sent home.
Survivor airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
