Dedham Woman Killed Crossing Street In Norwood
At 8:40 a.m. Friday morning, a pedestrian crossing Broadway was struck and killed by a construction type vehicle.

NORWOOD, MA — A person is dead after being struck near the train station.
At 8:40 a.m. Friday morning, a pedestrian crossing Broadway was struck and killed by construction equiptment, according to the Norwood Police Department.
The victim has been identified by the Norfolk County District Attorney's office as Cheryl Ann McCarthy of Dedham. She was 55.

The incident is under investigation by Norwood police, Norfolk County District Attorney’s office, Massachusetts State Police, MBTA transit police and OSHA.
