Dedham's 4th of July festivities will be focused on supporting a young resident, Sally Naser, who is battling a rare bone cancer.The race will take place on July 4, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. and start at Fairbanks Park on 177 Rustcraft Road. Registration will be held the morning of at 7:00 a.m.The proceeds from the "Four on the 4th" race will benefit pediatric cancer research at the Dana Farber Institute. Naser is a patient there.The course is USATF certified and will go through the neighborhood streets of Dedham. It will be a four-mile race with accurately marked miles and staffed water stations.There will be awards for all age group winners.
