‘Designing Dedham 2030’ Asking For Resident Input On Town Future
Dedham residents will have the chance share their ideas for future transportation and economic development in town at an online open house.
DEDHAM, MA — Dedham is offering residents a chance to share their ideas for future transportation and economic development in town at an online open house on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
The event is the first of three open houses that will explore the main topic areas of the Designing Dedham 2030 Master Plan.
The open house will be held on Zoom and include interactive activities. Participants will give feedback on the current state of economic development and transportation (including streets and sidewalks, traffic, walking, biking and public transportation) in Dedham, as well as potential goals for the future.

Designing Dedham is a town-wide master plan being developed to guide future decision-making in town, using goals and ideas generated by community members. The plan will establish a community vision, goals and specific implementation steps to achieve those goals. A 16-member Master Plan Committee is working with staff from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council to produce this plan.

Open houses on Jan. 26 and March 23 will focus on housing; public health and livability; natural, cultural and historic resources; land use; municipal facilities and services; and governance.
