Join the Dedham Sustainability Committee in celebrating Earth Hour! Earth Hour is a 1 hour lights off-event on Saturday, March 28th from 8:30pm-9:30pm, where you use your power to impact climate change. Earth Hour was started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007, since then it has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide. Celebrate Earth Hour with a candlelight dinner, by roasting marshmallows by the fire, or playing board games. Then share how you celebrated by posting pictures to Green Dedham Facebook page or tweeting at #Your Power or #Earth Hour your photos. Don’t have a social media account? No problem, send photos to the Town’s Environmental Coordinator at vleclair@dedham-ma.gov. The more people who make the commitment, the bigger impact we will have.
