Dedham Girls Softball League announces that they will hold a tryout for their annual Pitching Clinic starting in September 2012. Any DGSL softball players whose 2013 league age will be 8-13 and are interested in learning fast-pitch should attend. Openings are limited, so participants will be chosen based on their potential exhibited at the try-out. The clinic, with professional instructor, is subsidized by DGSL. Successful participant’s cost will be $300.
Register today on the DGSL website (www.dedhamgs.com) for the tryouts to be held at Loewen Field on Sunday September 23rd at 3:00pm. Participants from 2011-2012 Clinic need to plan on attending so that the League knows you are committed to another season of clinics.
Successful candidates will participate in a once per week clinic which will teach them the skills necessary to become a successful softball pitcher. The clinic will be held on Sundays running through March 2013. Each participant must bring their own catcher to each session.
