Ex-Town Official Files Lawsuit Against Dedham
Former Assistant Finance Director William Ralph has filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the town.

DEDHAM, MA - Former Assistant Finance Director William Ralph has filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the town.
In the suit, Ralph claims that his now-deceased supervisor Mariellen Murphy and the previous town manager “routinely allowed the alteration of Dedham’s accounting records when they did not reconcile to hide the imbalance," according to the Boston Globe. Ralph alleges that the town could not account for $400,000.
Ralph claims that Murphy spread false rumors about him, blamed him for her mistakes, and prevented him from getting a promotion or new job.
