Fairbanks Garden Club to host Garden of Trees at Holiday Stroll

11 Fabulous Christmas Trees will be raffled off to benefit the Club's Scholarship for a Dedham Student.

The Fairbanks Garden Club will once again fill the lobby of the Dedham Community Theatre with a colorful array of themed Christmas Trees that will be raffled off at the end of the Holiday Stroll. The Holiday Stroll will be on Friday, December 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Dedham Square.

Each tree in the Garden of Trees has a different theme and items under the trees reflect the theme as well. Raffle tickets for the trees are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The tree sponsors include Dedham Savings, Kerry Hawkins Design and Photography, Friends of the Dedham Public Library, Riverdale Friends, Exsultet Choral Group, A Friend of the Fairbanks Garden Club, Dedham Square Circle and the Dedham Junior Women's Club.

This year, there will be a special addition to the evening, a special dress form tree named Scarlet. Scarlet was created by Fairbanks Garden Club members Jeanette Evans, Annette Eddy and Janet Holmes. The tree is made from a recycled artificial Christmas tree, a fabric remnant and a dress form. Tickets for this special tree are$5.00. Scarlet is being sponsored by Bob Wiggins Gourmet Caterers.
