Friends of Dedham Library sponsor Vacation Programs at library

Over one hundred little princesses and their parents found their way to the main library on Tuesday, February 20th. Their goal...to visit with the ever popular Moana, Princess Elsa and Princess Anna of Disney movie fame.

It was a very lively crowd as the little princesses and a few superheros were entertained with stories and songs, had their faces painted and pictures taken with the Disney characters. This was just one of five programs held at the library this February Vacation week that was sponsored by the non-profit group, The Friends of the Dedham Library. Adults took part in the Savory Herbal Kitchen talk and tasting at the Endicott Branch. Three workshops on computer programming and video games were also offered at the libraries during the week.

The Friends of the Dedham Library are able to fund these programs with the proceeds from their book sales and membership donations. The next Friend's book sale will be Monday, March 26 from 3:00-8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The book sale is held at the main branch at 43 Church Street in Dedham. There will be a great selection of books in all subjects offered at a big discount off retail prices.
