Friends of Dedham Public Library Summer Book Sale

A great selection of books will be available for sale at the July 20th Book Sale at the Main Library.

The Friends of the Dedham Public Library will be holding their Summer Book Sale this Saturday, July 20th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Main Library, 43 Church Street, Dedham.

Donations have been steadily coming in over the past few months and the bookshelves are packed with best sellers in a wide range of topics. The children, pre-teen and young adult sections are filled with books for those summer reading projects.

Proceeds from the book sale help to underwrite the Museum Pass Plus Program that is administered by The Friends of the Dedham Library. This year, several new passes were added to the selection of area attractions. Passes for the Dreamland Wax Museum, Pawtucket Red Sox Games, Ecotarium, New Bedford Whaling Museum and Historic New England have been purchased for local residents.

The Friends of the Dedham Libary is a non-profit organization that has been supporting the library since 1981. The all volunteer organization holds book sales throughout the year, along with participating in local community events to help publicize the great activities that happen at the library. On August 4th, volunteers from the Friends will be at the Dedham Trails Day family event giving away free books to the first 80 families that stop by their table.
