Girl Scouts and Civic Pride Join Together for Bulb Planting
Keeping Dedham looking its best, while cultivating future gardeners
Members of Girl Scout Troop 82347 (Brownies), Troop 70602, Troop 67353 (Daisies) planted 200 daffodil bulbs at the parking lot of Gonzalez Field on Tuesday afternoon. The bulbs for planting were supplied by Dedham Civic Pride, who will be having their 7th Annual Beer & Wine Tasting Fundraiser on November 1, 2019 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Fundraising efforts such as the Beer & Wine Tasting allow Civic Pride to participate in community events and work with various organizations in the community to keep the town looking its best.
Civic Pride will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary at the Beer & Wine Tasting. Premier Sponsor for the 25th anniversary celebration is Needham Bank. Guest can sample international wines, craft beers, and offerings from local restaurants such as El Centro, Pancho's, Egg & Thai, Blue Ribbon BBQ, Wegman's and Roche Brothers.
Those feeling lucky can purchase some raffle tickets to win some fun prizes and gift certificates. Advance tickets for the fundraiser are $40 and are available on Eventbrite. Limited tickets at the door will be $45.
