Irish Folk With Petaluma Vale and Friends

An evening if Irish Folk Music and Irish Poetry put to music! An evening of Harps, Cello, Singing and More!

The Good Art Series is happy to announce an evening of Irish Folk musical entertainment with : Petaluma Vale (Songwriter, Vocal, Harp, Guitar, and Piano) on September 26th from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Accompanied by: Alison Blake (Harp) and Valerie Thompson (Cello and Vocal)

Petaluma Vale learned through an Irish folk method as a part of a group that performed as a side act for the late Irish tenor, Frank Patterson. She has been writing her own music for some time now and plays guitar. In 2007 she joined the art-rock band Jaggery as harpist and backing vocalist

Petaluma will be featuring songs from her 2012 album called, “The Long Way Out.” You will be exposed to her Irish folk method and her poetry put to music. Poet Rustle Ochre states, “Petaluma Vale is a folk singer of enchanting spontaneity, originality, trickery, and delicacy.”

This event is free and all are welcome. This is a wonderful way to support our local musicians, develop community, and have a good time!
