It's Christmas Time In Dedham
The community celebrated the start of holiday season Friday with the Dedham Square Holiday Stroll.
DEDHAM, MA — It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Dedham. The decorations are up in Dedham Square and more importantly, the Christmas Tree is all lit up and ready for the season.
The community celebrated the holiday season with the Dedham Square Holiday Stroll, held by the Dedham Square Circle. Christmas music and spirit filled the square as an estimated 1,000 residents packed the square.
"You're in a very special place, in case you can't tell," Peter Reynolds, the president of Dedham Square Circle and owner of the Blue Bunny told the crowd prior to the tree lighting.

In addition to the tree lighting, merchants, performers, and musicians roamed the street. Just prior to the lighting, Santa Claus himself appeared and met with local children afterward at the Dedham Square Coffee house.
