A day of creation in Dedham Square

Dedham Sidewalk Chalk Arts Festival, May 21st 12-4pm
Bryant Street, Dedham Square, right near town Hall
What is a Sidewalk Chalk Arts Festival? It's combination of performance art and public art. Artists use the pavement as their canvas and pastel chalks as their medium. As an artist, you will be able to work on a large scale with easy-to-use pastel chalks while enjoying a lovely Spring day right in Dedham Square. Spectators can experience the actual creation process and interact with the artists. Plus, live entertainment!. Come join us for a wonderful experience!

SWEET HAVEN will be performing as part of the Dedham Sidewalk Chalk Arts Festival. Sweet Haven is an acoustic and vocal group performing music and contemporary Americana tunes, with their inspirations drawn from many sources. The band features Dedham residents Linnea Bardarson (banjo and vocals), Steve Cecil (guitar and vocals) , Fred Civian (acoustic bass and vocals), Natalie Jensen (mandolin and vocals) , and Lisa Seibert (vocals and percussion).
We are also thrilled to announce that Cheryl Annie Doucette with Doucette Impressions will be one of the Featured Artists at the Dedham Sidewalk Chalk Arts Festival! Plan to come to the Square on May 21 to see her work, and work from people of all ages in town!
