10:39 a.m. - A shoplifter was reported at TJ Maxx on Route 1. The woman, who was not arrested at the scene, will face a charge of larceny over $250.

4:20 p.m. - Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the Norfolk Superior Court lobby. Court officers told police that Lamar Smith, 26, was asked to leave, became argumentative, and demanded a hearing for a harassment prevention order. Smith was arrested on a warrant.

3:04 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at EXPRESS at Legacy Place. Police were told that the suspect stole $1,087 in merchandise on Jan. 20, and tok $4,800 in merchandise on May 15.
