Larceny, Train Disturbance: Dedham Police Log

March 5

10:39 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Curve Street, a driver was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

11:29 p.m. - Police from Dedham and Westwood responded to a report of an erratic operator on Route 1 near Eastern Avenue. The driver was struck with a taser after he refused to leave his vehicle. Once he was handcuffed, the driver was taken to the Westwood Police Department for booking.

March 6

10:49 a.m. - A home break-in was reported.

12:04 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Parker Staples Road, a driver was arrested on a warrant.

3:30 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Ocean State Job Lot. The suspect was issued a summons for larceny under $250.


March 7

2:10 p.m. - A disturbance was reported on a train at the Dedham Corporate Center station. The conductor told police that two people did not pay the train fair and one of the suspects threaten to assault her. Police told the two that they needed to get off the train and give them some identification. One of the women continued to yell at the officer and she was placed under arrest for disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
