RESCHEDULED: Legacy Place announces the first ever Touch-A-Truck event!

Dedham, MA - October, 1, 2015 - Due to inclement weather, the Touch-A-Truck event that was supposed to take place on October 3rd will now take place on Saturday, November 7th, 11am-3pm.

Legacy Place is thrilled to invite local residents to the first ever “Touch-a-Truck” event on Saturday, November 7, 2015, 11:00am – 3:00pm. Kids are invited to climb aboard and honk the horn on fire trucks, loaders, semi-trucks, police cruisers, and more. There will be a variety of family-friendly entertainment including face painting, balloon art, coloring stations, plinko and treats including frozen custard from Shake Shack.

Trucks will be provided, in-kind, from a variety of local businesses including: Dedham Fire Department, Dedham Police Department, Fallon, Interstate, Fed Corp, Garda, MNI, NEMS, Ocelot Racing and The Sign Center.

The event is free, but donations are strongly encouraged to benefit The Home for Little Wanderers. The Home serves children and youth from birth to age 22. The Home makes a positive impact on over 7,000 lives each year through a wide network of programs.

The event will take place on the lawn area next to the Cinema. Guests are asked to park in Level 3 of the garage.
