Legacy Place To Hold Touch A Truck Event

The annual event gives children a fun opportunity to explore a variety of trucks and cars, including emergency vehicles, fire engines,& more

From Legacy Place: Legacy Place (680 Legacy Place) will host its popular Touch-A-Truck event this Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 10:00am – 12:00pm. The annual event gives children a fun opportunity to explore a variety of trucks and cars, including emergency vehicles, fire engines, police cars and construction trucks. Children can also meet and interact with the men and women who drive these vehicles, such as first responders, police officers and construction workers – all people who are helping to shape Greater Boston’s communities.

Touch-A-Truck, which in years past has drawn over 1,000 attendees from the local community, invites families to honk the horn and snap photos with numerous cars and trucks, and enjoy a variety of entertainment and activities including a photo booth, crafts, face painting, balloon animals, and raffles. Plus, Medha Gandhi from KISS 108’s Matty in the Morning will be on hand with one of the radio station’s DJs to play music all morning long.

Touch-A-Truck is sponsored by Citizens Bank, and will benefit The Home for Little Wanderers, New England’s largest non-profit child and family service agency. The Home provides care to thousands through intervention and prevention, foster care and adoption, clinical services, residential care, special education, and home-based family support.

The entrance fee is a suggested $2 donation per child. Attendees are encouraged to register at Touch-A-Truck’s Eventbrite page.

Touch-A-Truck will be located on the lawn between Yard House and Showcase Cinema de Lux at Legacy Place.
