Moped Donuts, Nintendo Switch Controller Theft, and More: Dedham Police Log

March 14
10:17 a.m. - After police observed the operator of a moped fishtail and do donuts in the Bank of America parking lot on Bussey Street, the unlicensed operator received a summons. Police noticed that the moped was missing a body panel in the front and had exposed wiring.

8:35 p.m. - Police responded to a report of shoplifting at Best Buy on Route 1. Store staff told police that the suspect attempted to steal four Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers. The man, identified at Taylor Keefe, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250.

12:13 p.m. - An officer on Route 1 South issued a citation to a driver with no inspection sticker and revoked registration.
