National Reading Week Kick off Party at The Blue Bunny

Come join the fun as we celebrate National Reading Week

Read Across America Week is celebrated from March 2 to 6 — it begins on the birthday of the beloved author, Dr. Seuss. The entire month of March, in fact, is dedicated to reading. The National Education Association (N.E.A.) aims to encourage reading and educate people about its benefits.

To get the reading started, the Blue Bunny Bookstore, 577 High Street, Dedham, MA will be hosting a Kick-Off Party on Sunday, March 2 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A variety of activities are planned with the highlight being story times with Peter H Reynolds at 1:15 pm and fellow author and book barista Nancy Tupper Ling.

Kids will also be able to make their own bookmark, take part in a scavenger hunt and play a few rounds of book bingo. To round out the fun, there will be treats and raffles too!
