According to a police report, Mederios was allegedly renting construction equipment and selling it for profit for years. Usually, the scheme saw Medeiros reserve the items for a day under the name of a local landscaper or construction company. He would then sell the equipment on Craig’s List.
During the investigation, police were made aware of similar cases in Mendon, Medway, and Uxbridge where Mederios was the suspect.
