OUI, Property Damage, Attempted Break-In: Dedham Police Log

February 5

8:24 a.m. - A person at the police station turned in a bump stock, which are now illegal in Massachusetts.

6:34 p.m. - During a well being check, one person was charged with threatening to commit a crime.

7:48 p.m. - An attempted motor vehicle break-in was reported.

8:15 p.m. - Police were told to be on the lookout for a vehicle stolen from Boch Honda in Norwood. The car was located on Veterans Road. A 39-year-old was arrested on a warrant.

February 6

4:32 a.m. - A WFXT security guard told police that someone attempted to enter the station’s parking lot on Route 1 and they drove away while intoxicated. The driver was located on Elm Street and was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor. Police also determined that the driver had a revoked license.

12:17 p.m. - Malicious property damage was reported at the Amazon warehouse on Sprague Street. A summons will be issued for malicious damage of property.
