Peek-a-Blue Hikes Kickoff in the Blue Hills on Tuesday, April 14!

Friends of the Blue Hills is partnering with Milton Junior Woman's Club to offer free, one-hour guided hikes in the Blue Hills.

Friends of the Blue Hills Kick-Off 2015 Peek-a-Blue Hikes on April 14

On Tuesday, April 14, the Friends of the Blue Hills will host its first Peek-a-Blue Hike of the year. The free, one-hour guided hike will start at 11 a.m. at the Houghton’s Pond main parking lot at 840 Hillside Street in Milton. Complimentary refreshments will be served, and there will be a simple scavenger hunt for parents and children with all children receiving a prize at the end.

Thanks to a grant from the Milton Junior Woman’s Club, the Friends of the Blue Hills will be able to offer the hikes every other Tuesday morning throughout the year and will be providing free water, juice and healthy snacks for all who attend. A volunteer naturalist from L.L. Bean Legacy Place in Dedham will lead the hikes, and families are invited to bring a picnic lunch to eat afterwards.
