Person Killed By Train At Dedham's Endicott Station

Transit Police confirmed a male was killed while on the tracks.

DEDHAM, MA — A male was struck and killed early Friday evening by a Commuter Rail train near Endicott Station in Dedham, Transit Police confirmed. Foul play is not suspected, police said.

Transit Police and Dedham emergency services responded to a call around 6:15 p.m. for a person possibly struck by a train. Preliminary information indicates the victim was trespassing on the right of way near the Cedar Street Bridge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Endicott Station is on the Franklin Commuter Rail Line.
