Police Seek More Charges Against Dedham Man Charged In Police Chase
Police in Mansfield are seeking more charges against a Dedham man who allegedly fled police and caused a police chase Saturday morning.

MANSFIELD, MA — Police in Mansfield are seeking more charges against a Dedham man who allegedly fled police and caused a police chase early Saturday morning.
James L. Abbisso, 35, was arrested and charged with drugged driving (second offense), resisting arrest, and several motor vehicle violations. The Mansfield Police Department tells the Sun Chronicle they are seeking a warrant for driving with a suspended license, failing to stop for police and assault with a dangerous weapon.
At about 6:50 a.m. Saturday, a vehicle fled a Mansfield neighborhood after police attempted to approach it. Abbisso allegedly drove up Interstates 95 and 93, exiting and returning to the highway and changing directions, according to police reports.

Abbisso was evaluated at Carney Hospital before he was taken into state police custody.
