Poll: Should the Orange Line Extend to Dedham?

With the MBTA problems the Greater Boston is enduring as of late there is naturally discussion on what could be done to improve the city’s public transit system. This hot topic also includes the argument of rail line extensions.

Curbed Boston dug up a map “from what was essentially a bull session in 1945 by the predecessor of today’s beleaguered MBTA.”

The Orange line was supposed to be go a lot farther:
