Residents Unhappy with Proposed Dedham Hooters

DEDHAM, MA - Wings and waitresses in skimpy outfits could be on the way to Dedham, much to the dissatisfaction of many residents.

Last week, about 50 residents attended a selectmen meeting on a liquor license transfer from Summer Shack to Hooters, according to the Dedham Transcript. The restaurant would be located on Route 1, just past Legacy Place.

A petition with 500 signatures against the establishment was also presented to the board.

No vote was taken, but the board said they would review the material over the next few weeks.
