Restaurants, Apartment Coming to Dedham Square

Sixty new apartments are also on the way.

DEDHAM, MA — Two new restaurants are on their way to Dedham Square.

Towards the end of spring and early summer, the Dedham Board of Selectmen approved liquor licenses for the Horse Thieves’ Tavern and a new gastropub named Oscar's. The Horse Thieves' Tavern is set to be located in the former home of Wardle's Pharmacy, which is in a building currently owned by children's book writer Peter Reynolds.

Near the Dedham House of Pizza will be Oscar's. The pub-like establishment will be owned by Dedham resident Ann Francis and managed by Michael Tallon.
