Dedham Community House Summer Camp: A Summer Kids Look Forward To Dedham Community House Summer Camp sits in the heart of Dedham and has served local families for more than 100 years. We offer a full-day program for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Each day is active, varied, and fun. Campers stay engaged from start to finish: Daily swim in our outdoor pool Archery Arts and crafts Makerspace projects Science activities Rec room games and indoor play Group games and special events Our staff show up prepared and engaged. Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program We offer a free CIT program for students entering 8th and 9th grade. Owner Katerina Iliades, whose family has served the Boston Greek community for decades, says many of the foods enjoyed during Lent reflect long-standing Greek culinary traditions. “Lent is a forty-day season leading up to Easter when many families embrace traditional fasting foods rooted in the Mediterranean diet,” says Iliades. “The dishes enjoyed during this time — from beans and vegetables to seafood and olive oil — have been part of Greek culinary traditions for centuries.” During the Lenten season, many Christians avoid meat and dairy, turning instead to a vibrant variety of Mediterranean dishes that are naturally plant-based and deeply rooted in Greek culinary tradition. NEEDHAM, MA — If you’ve ever watched a performance and wondered what happens just out of sight — the frantic whispers, the misplaced props, the barely-averted disasters — Needham Community Theatre (NCT) is about to pull back the curtain. And what’s behind it is absolutely, gloriously unhinged.
NCT is proud to announce its upcoming production of Noises Off, the classic backstage farce by acclaimed British playwright Michael Frayn, running May 8–16, 2026 at Carleton Auditorium at Newman School, 1155 Central Ave, Needham, MA 02492.
First performed in London’s West End in 1982, Noises Off has earned its place as one of the funniest plays ever written. The show follows a ragtag touring theatre company as they muddle through rehearsals, performances, and the spectacular implosion of their personal lives — all while sardines, bouquets of flowers, and slamming doors threaten to bring the whole production to its knees. It’s a comedy about putting on a comedy, and it delivers laughs at a pace that will leave audiences breathless.
