Sears At Dedham Mall Faces Late July Closing

DEDHAM, MA — The days for the Sears at the Dedham Mall are numbered.

The store will close in late July, according to a Sears spokesperson. The store has been holding an out of business sale since mid-May, but details on how long the store would remain open were not made public until this week.

The spokesman told MassLive that the auto center will remain open. He did not say how many jobs would be lost, but associates can apply for jobs at other Sears locations.

The Dedham store is one of 30 expected to close this summer.
