The Blue Bunny Bookstore is hopping with special events activities! Check out the list below for all of our events.
Saturday, April 12 from 10:30 am to 12:30 PM – The Easter Bunny will be visiting the Blue Bunny Bookstore. Join in the fun with Easter craft projects, a scavenger hunt, refreshments and make your own Easter bag table.
Sunday, April 13 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. - Launch Party of the all-new Spanish edition of the Dot by Peter H. Reynolds from Candlewick Press is being released next week! We’ll celebrate with a launch party at the Blue Bunny on Sunday, April 13th at 11am. We’ll have a book reading, a craft, and Peter H. Reynolds will be here to sign books. Stop by and join the fun!

Saturday, April 26 – National Independent Book Store Day. Stop by the store and show your support for Dedham’s own Independent Book Store. Pick up a Peter H. Reynolds print with any purchase!
Friday, April 25 – Author visit with Lynda Mullaly Hunt at 7:00 pm. The New York Times Best Selling Author of Fish in a Tree, will be at The Blue Bunny to talk about her new book Wish in a Tree, which is scheduled to be released in May.

Also on Saturday, April 26, the Blue Bunny will be celebrating Earth Day/Monarch Butterflies from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Learn about the delightful Monarch Butterfly at a special story time. Then plant your own milkweed to take home to help attract Monarch Butterflies to your yard. We will also have crafts and refreshments.
Sunday, April 27 – The North Star Ramble at the Endicott Estate (down by the Green House) Registration starts at 8:00 am. Special games and fun before the races start.
9:00 am Family Fun Run - families run together (5 laps around our course)
9:20 am: Pre-K / age 4 and under - 50-meter dash
9:30 am: Grades K and 1 / ages 5-6 - 100-meter dash
9:40 am: Grade 2 and 3 / ages 7-8 - 200 meters (1 lap around course)
9:50 am: Grades 4 and 5 / ages 9-10 - 500 meters (2.5 laps)
All participants take home a book of their choice and a Peter H. Reynolds Print.
