St. Vincent de Paul annual Friends of the Poor Walk

"Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is the theme of the walk from St. Mary's parking lot to St. Susanna's Church on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015.

Dedham Conferences of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are hosting the annual Friends of the Poor Walk on Saturday, September 26, 9:00 AM. Teams of walkers, families and individuals who are committed to social justice and helping neighbors in need are invited to participate.

Walkers leave from St. Mary’s Parish parking lot, walk through Dedham Square, travel Ames and Pine Streets, and end at St. Susanna’s parking lot, a distance of about 2 miles. Refreshments are provided at St. Susanna’s. Transportation is available back to St. Mary’s.

There is no registration fee to participate. Walkers are encouraged to get sponsors for their walk. Online forms for walker registration, sponsorships and donations are available at www.fopwalk.org.
