State Police Arrest 3 In Connection With Car Theft Ring
Two separate car chases, crashes and foot chases led police to the three overnight arrests.

Three Rhode Island men were arrested by Massachusetts State Police overnight on Wednesday in connection to a car theft ring that hit several communities south of Boston. Police spotted two suspicious cars with the men inside on Wednesday night in Dedham and followed them through several towns — the chase resulted in the cars crashing twice and two separate foot chases leading police through North Attleborough.
The first crash happened in Sharon, police said both cars crashed separately and the men ran from the area. One man was caught by a Sharon Police K-9 unit. He had injuries, and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.
The other two men were spotted some time later in a Jeep outside Sharon High School. When state troopers tried to stop the Jeep, the man sped off onto Route 95 south, starting the second part of the chase. The men crashed again, this time on Route 95 near Exit 4 in North Attleboro, police said they tried running off a second time.

Two of the men who crashed the Jeep were later found by Sharon Police and all three were arrested at State Police-Foxboro. Police said at least one other man — who fled in the Jeep down Route 95 and ran away after crashing in North Attleboro — was not found despite a several-hour long search. That suspect or suspects are the focus of ongoing investigation.
Police identified the men as follows:
