Target to Open in Westwood

Target is opening a new store in Westwood in March, 2015. 

The retailer chain, which has 25 stores in the Boston area already, will be located on University Avenue, between Route 129 and Canton Street, as part of the University Station development. Spanning approximately 135,000 square feet, the Westwood Target will include fresh food and employ approximately 200 people.  

Target officials say the Westwood location will be a "one-stop shopping solution" and will include food, household essentials, home furnishings, electronics, sporting goods, toys and apparel and accessories, as well as a Starbucks, Target Pharmacy and Target Optical.
