Task Force To Address Swastikas Found In Dedham Middle School
The task force's goal will be to discuss the next steps in regards to discussions with students and school-wide actions.

DEDHAM, MA — A task force will be formed as a response to a swastika found in Dedham Middle School last week.
In a letter to parents, Principal Karen Hillman wrote that a swastika was found inside a bathroom and two items in the hallway at Dedham Middle School. School officials are investigating the incident.
The task force's goal will be to discuss the next steps in regards to discussions with students and school-wide actions.

“Please be assured that this symbol of hate and intolerance has no place here at Dedham Middle School. An act such as this violates our core values. We pride ourselves on being a place of inclusion, acceptance, and respect. We believe strongly that students deserve to feel safe and respected throughout their day and we work to ensure this daily," Hillman wrote.
