Temazcal Tequila Cantina Gets Opening Date

DEDHAM, MA — After months of work, Dedham newest restaurant is just about ready to open.

Temazcal Tequila Cantina announced Friday that they will open their Dedham location Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. They will be open for dinner only during opening week and will start serving lunch Dec. 23. They will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and reopen Dec. 26.

The restaurant is located below Showcase Cinema De Lux inside the former home of Wicked Restaurant and Wine Bar. About 200 guests can be seated in addiditon to a 46-seat mezzanine-level dining room that can be used for private events.

Executive Chef Donley Liburd, a St. Thomas native whose resume includes Bouchée, Cask ‘n Flagon, and Legal Harborside, will head up the kitchen and offer made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine with a modern twist.

When full hours start, Temazcal Tequila Cantina will then be open from 11 a.m.-1 a.m.
