THANK YOU DEDHAM!!!!

It has been 6 days since the election and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the entire town, my opponents, all my supporters, everyone who cared enough to get involved and supported any one of the great candidate's who ran, my friends and family and everyone who participated in this election season.

This election season was a tremendous testament to the high amount of civic engagement present in Dedham now.  Win or lose I was proud of Dedham for the past few months.   The idea of engaged, informed citizens participating in government gets me excited.  It is what I believe in because I believe in Democracy and I believe in America.  This concept is on full display here right now and it is one of the many reasons that I am proud to be a Dedhamite and proud to be your representative.

To Dennis Guilfoyle and the current board members I look forward to working with each of you for the next few years.  I think we have a great board and will do great things.

To each and every one of my opponents I want to wish you all the very best. Each one of you has a unique collection of skills and talents that will benefit this town in one way or the other.

As a selectman I will do my very best to serve the public and every decision I make will be for the short and long term interest of this town. It will always be that simple with me!

I think one of the reasons I was elected is because I have a long track record of service to individuals and the community both inside and outside of Dedham.   I worked hard to earn each and every one of those achievements.  I also worked hard to earn the honor of this office, knocking on almost a thousand doors, standing outside in all weather for dozens and dozens of hours, handing out flyers and meeting people in every corner of this community.

I am going to bring that work ethic and mentality of service to the office of selectman and I thank you for the chance to be your representative.  I have always maintained my candidacy is not about me it is about all of Dedham.  I am looking forward to help make the vision we all share for our town a reality.

Thank You!!!!
