Thanks To The Dedham Board Of Health And Health Department!

"On behalf of the Norfolk County Commissioners, our County employees and their families, I want to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Health and Dedham Health Department for their expertise and guidance they continue to provide relative to COVID-19 protocols.

We would like to especially recognize the efforts of Assistant Public Health Director Leontia Flanagan and Public Health Nurse Jessica Tracy. Both professionals have been extremely helpful to the County, particularly during these last few weeks. Both Ms. Flanagan and Ms. Tracy have made themselves available on numerous occasions to work collaboratively with our County Administration and Department Heads to help inform and guide the County’s efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in line with local public health protocols.

The last nine months have been incredibly challenging, tiring and stressful for all of us. The Norfolk County Commissioners recognize the pressures on the Board of Health, the Department and all public health officials are more prominent than ever before.

Professionals like Ms. Flanagan, Ms. Tracy and the Department’s entire staff represent the very best of public service. They’ve helped the County continue its strong partnership with the Town of Dedham. Most importantly, their guidance and counsel is making a world of difference in our efforts to help best-ensure the health and safety of our employees and their families, in addition to the citizens we are proud to serve.

The County looks forward to further sharing our thanks and appreciation to the Dedham Health Department when it is safe to do so. We would be remiss, however, if we didn’t take the opportunity to express our personal thanks and appreciation at this crucial time."
