Threats To Run Over Officer, Trespassing: Dedham Police Log

February 17

5:29 a.m. - A driver at Legacy Place was issued a ticket for wrongful use of a handicap placard.

3:00 p.m. - A driver at Stop and Shop on Route 1 was issued a ticket for wrongful use of a handicap placard and parking in a handicapped parking space.

12:43 p.m. - A 28-year-old was arrested and charged with strangulation or suffocation.

February 20

2:54 p.m. - Police responded to a report of a man having cardiac issues at Dedham District Court on High Street. Officers at the scene found a man who appeared to be in distress but were unable to talk to him after a woman said she was going to drive the man, who is her brother, to the hospital and not wait for an ambulance. She was asked several times to turn off the vehicle and let her brother be treated but told police she would run them over if they didn’t get out of the way. The woman was issued a complaint for interfering with a police officer, assault with a dangerous weapon, threatening a police officer, and distributing the peace.

7:15 p.m. - A person at Caffe Nero at Legacy Place was arrested for trespassing and on a straight warrant.

9:21 p.m. - An employee at J. Crew at Legacy Place reported that $483.50 in merchandise was purchased with what was later discovered to be fake cash.
