Tickets on sale for Friends of Dedham Civic Pride Spring Gala.

The Friends of Dedham Civic Pride will once again be hosting their Spring Gala fundraising event at the MIT Endicott House on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. Tickets for the event are available on Eventbrite. Advance sale tickets are $80.00; tickets at the door will be $95.

This is the largest fundraiser that the Friends hold. The funds raised from this event help to underwrite the 4-person landscape staff that work diligently from April to November on the 56 pocket parks and 89 flower pots and large planters throughout the town that fall under the Civic Pride umbrella. Last summer, along with caring for the pocket parks and planters, the landscape staff planted a new pocket park at the intersection of Washington and Highland Streets; clean out and planted the monument area at the Common field at the intersection of High and Common streets; watered the new plantings at Greenlodge School; and donated three wrought iron benches – one to the Fairbanks House and two to the Endicott Library.
