The healthcare provided served thousands of patients in the Dedham and Needham area.

Visions Healthcare will be closing its doors in August after seven years of providing medicine services to thousands of patients in Dedham and Needham.
The company’s Needham location ceased operation on July 23, 2015. Now the Dedham office is set to close on August 21, 2015.
“While we have worked extremely hard to avoid this outcome, we have run out of options,” Visions said in a statement.

Patients who want to remain with their current doctor may have the opportunity to do so. Visions Healthcare founder Edward Levitan says many of the company’s doctors have already committed to practice elsewhere or are in the process of finalizing arrangements.
Visions will be providing its patients with a free copy of their medical records, which are necessary for continued healthcare. Medical records are available electronically, as a CD or as a paper copy.

“On behalf of the entire staff at Visions HealthCare, thank you for being part of our community. It truly has been a privilege to care for you,” Levitan added.
Due to an expected high volume of record requests, Visions’ employees will be working up until September 15, 2015 in order to fulfill the needs of their patients.
